Shipping lobsters is an important part of the business at Cook’s Lobster House located on Bailey Island, Maine. So we asked the help of a local artist, Emily Boisvert (Emily is a first year art major at Hartwick College in up state New York) to draw us a picture that would represent the shipping department at Cooks. We gave her three pieces of information. 1 – A description of our mascot a cat that has made its home Cooks Lobster House. 2 – A Forklift and 3 – lobsters. With those three bits of information we asked for a symbol that could represent the essence of the shipping part of our business. Below is the art work she came up with and we are very pleased. So now the task of giving the two characters in the art names.
